Animated Doll Tutorial

This is a very simple tutorial to get you started – you’ll probably be able to figure out much more complicated/interesting ways of animating dolls, but here’s something quick.

Step 1

Open up the doll you want to animate in Animation Shop. I’m using this:

Step 2

Right click the frame and ‘Copy’ then paste ‘Before Current Frame’ (or Ctrl and L on your keyboard).

Step 3

Click the second frame to give it a blue and red border and go to Animation > Mirror. Follow my Slowing Down Animations tutorial to slow your animation down.

Step 4

Once you’re happy with it, go to File > Save, and save, then upload to your website. Here’s mine:
