The Liquid ripples effect can look completely different depending on what colour you use. Try experimenting with gradients for a more surreal finish.
Step 1
Open up a new image in Photoshop, and press D on your keyboard.
Step 2
Go to Filter > Render > Difference Clouds, and then repeat this by pressing Ctrl (and hold), then F.
Step 3
Next, go to Filter > Sketch > Chrome, and set the Detail to 8 and the Smoothness to 6.
Step 4
Go to Image > Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast, and set the Brightness to 15, and the Contrast to 50. Click Ok.
Step 5
Go to Image > Adjustments > Auto Levels, and you’ll end up with a nice ripply image!!

Step 6
Click Ok, and colourise. Save and you’re done!
