…updates?!

Yes, there are actual updates listed (check the Updates page in the menu for more information)! At the moment it’s mainly aesthetic stuff, but there will be more over the next few days providing I can keep on top of uni work. There would be more now, but I just had one of my old dizzy spells so I don’t want to push it.

In spite of the updates I did, like a complete fool I deleted all the photos from the Stock Photo Gallery, setting me back several hours unless I can figure out a way to get them back. So expect that to be down for a few days at least  

What have I been up to? Socialising, mainly, since exams are over! Alana and I are getting on really well; she’s sitting next to me watching the rugby as I type this I’ve seen quite a lot of my friends which has been fun. My guy friends’  obsession with the Wii have reached whole new levels. Not only do I have a friend who calls up asking how the Wii is (like he expects it to have emotions or something – yeah, it’s tired today. Actually, it’s feeling down right now.), I now have my friend Sarah’s friends who saw me off on the train with, ‘Have fun playing with the Wii!’. It’s mildly disturbing and mildly funny. Also, I love their reactions when they find out I have one – it’s not just ‘omg she likes computer games’ but ‘omg she has a Wii’. One of my guy friends recently found out I’m a computer geek and was very surprised lol. Which reminds me – one of the guys at work offered to bring in his copy of Dreamweaver for me but I forgot to remind him about it, damnit. I’ve been using it at work to edit the robot manuals and I can see it being interesting to play with at home, if not useful.

So I went to Sheffield on Friday for Sarah’s birthday, which was fun. I got to see her house and housemates and meet some crazy people. I’m not convinced Sarah knows anyone remotely normal/average :p We went to the student union and saw Lee Ryan from Blue and Bradley from S Club perform songs. Lee Ryan was a bit of an idiot – although there were some people shouting abuse at him – he retaliated and it was like being back in high school. Someone threw a drink over him, at which point he walked off the stage and refused to do his last song. We didn’t hang around for East 17

Today I did a bit of cleaning and washing, and I’ve now spent several hours working on updates etc. So…I’m off to take a break for a bit before starting on some uni work *sigh* My back kind of hurts. And my usual feeling of accomplishment has been destroyed by the fact that I’ve deleted the entire photo gallery! *cries*
