Well I had a lie in this morning until 9 am (!), and then I got up and watched some animated Canterbury Tales – I’m writing an essay on them this semester and what better way to get to know Chaucer’s work?! Or maybe I’m just a sucker for cartoons…
Anyway, after that I spent nearly two hours cleaning the house; hoovering, sorting out the post, adding more stuff to the recycling bins, dusting, cleaning the bathroom floor, sink and toilet (niice).
We seem to have a bit of a plant surplus going on at the moment. Sheffield Sarah bought me a beautiful orchid when she came to stay, and insisted on me keeping the rose the guy had given to her with the plant. On top of that, we have the plants I bought when IÂ first moved in (that I’m still killing in different ways, because I suck with plants). Plus, Alana brought some plants back from her (now ex) boyfriend’s house. Additionally, Andy, the guy she’s seeing now, bought her a plant for Valentine’s Day. AND her ex-boyfriend had already arranged flowers to be delivered before they split up…so I’m surrounded by plants of all shapes and sizes. It’s colourful at least.
Last night I went to see with Laura. I absolutely loved it. I wasn’t entirely convinced by Drew Barrymore’s transformation from Psycho Plant Lady to Amazing Lyricist Lady in about five minutes, but it was funny and I enjoyed the songs. I hope everyone had a good Valentine’s Day! 
I’m killing time until Alana comes back from uni (should be about 12), and a few minutes after that I’m leaving to have lunch with (another) Laura at the Lakeside Cafe on campus. We originally planned to go swimming, but I’m kind of glad we changed the plans – I’m actually pretty tired already and I still have lectures with Sarah (2-4) this afternoon. Yesterday I spent 3 hours in the library researching stuff for MadEvil Studies, and I *still* have to type it up etc. *sigh* So yeah, I should be continuing my good work and get some uni work done. So I’ll return comments and then I’m off to type up…

I saw Music & Lyrics on Sunday with my boyfriend. It is so funny. Recommend it to everyone. Had a nice Valentines Day, first time I’ve actually spent it with someone.
Plants… yea well I rather suck with them too. I always seem to forget to give them the water they need so desperately so they will slowly die…

Wow, 2 hours cleaning?! I think I spent probably half an hour max cleaning yesterday… LOL.
Wow, that’s crazy that Andy had already sent the flowers before they broke up… That must suck for Alana, though… Well, if I were her… LOL.
