Proof that it doesn’t always rain in England!
We went to the Goose Fair on Saturday. It’s basically a big fair with rides and games that lasts a week or so. Strangely enough, one of my high school friends who I haven’t seen for getting on for 4 years now text me asking if I was going because he was. Unfortunately we left just before he got there (it’s in a dodgy area and we didn’t want to get shot by staying there too late!) so I didn’t get to see him.
We ended up buying fudge, playing games that we had no chance of winning (apart from hook a duck!) and went on rides (although I got freaked out by the kids’ ‘Roller Ghoster’ and wouldn’t go on any more)…and buying a clock. There was a craft fair and we ended up buying a funky steel clock for our house, which was not cheap at £36 (about $72 USD). Gah, crazy moments
I really need to work on the impulsive thing.

From left to right: Richard, Chris, Nika and Richard. Spot the normal one?
We were supposed to be going to Sarah’s party that night, but I was so exhausted after the day’s events I went to sleep and didn’t wake up until it was too late lol.
I’m busy as ever – I got the FTP details for the website I’m supposed to be making, so I’ve been playing with ideas for that. I also have tons of notes to write up, the washing up to do and also some passages of Richard II to re-read and make notes on for tomorrow. I’m supposed to have the morning off to do that, but I’m probably going to go swimming, so that’s out of the window. Meh. I’m also supposed to have Wednesday off (I only have 5 hours of lectures and seminars this week, so I have quite a lot of time off), but I’m thinking of going to either the gym or the library in the morning, and I have my Community Action induction in the afternoon…I just want a bit more time to kick back and relax without feeling guilty about not doing something! After tomorrow I don’t have any more seminars this week, which means no work apart from reading, making notes and writing up notes. I’m going to Nika’s Polish Social thing though (a Polish food taster night at a Polish restaurant), and I’m going to the theatre with Sarah on Thursday. Then I’ll probably go home for the weekend on Friday. Busy busy busy!

Your rather flustered webmistress

*waves* Hi, I'm
Nice pictures!
Glad you had fun at the fair! I can never go to the fair when it comes…
Anyways, wow, sounds like you’re going to be busy with the site and such… Good luck!
Fairs are fun
I wish we had one soon…
Sounds like you had fun, and I know the feeling, it’s annoying, isn’t it?
Goose fair sounds like a blast! I love things like that when they come into town.
My partner’s dad is polish. He always goes to the european area in Edmonton somewhere and comes back with a bag of polish food! I can’t stand any of it though, it’s all either too strong, grosse or bland. Though it could just be his personal taste!
I had a huge comment written out and then it said I failed the challenge. I don’t like your math question heh too complicated for my brain .. and I do very well in math. I think i thought both signs wew x’s so i multiplyed. haha. ANyway enough about math.
