My Room
This is what my room looks like right now:

This is what my head feels like right now.
I am an obsessively tidy and clean person. Obsessive to the point where I normally come back to uni and put all the posters on my wall in the same places, my books are arranged in the same way, even my desk drawers have to be the same.
My life is reflected in my room, and my life is crazy-woman right now. Today I had a book to read, an essay to hand in and revision to do for exam practice. Yesterday I had a Drama presentation that I completely forgot about until Sarah reminded me a couple of hours before.
Total amount of work done? The essay.
Total amount of work blagged? The rest of it.
I am turning into a stereotypical lazy Arts student. I am going to get organised, and by tomorrow evening I will have done the following:
Tidied
Put stuff on my walls
Organised all my notes
Done revision notes for Drama in the library
Got some sleep
Had at least 2 proper meals
Gone to the gym
Since I have the day off tomorrow, I should get everything done. That essay took *forever*
Oh, and the quote of yesterday goes to Dr. Moron, who said, and I quote, ‘England never really recovered [from the beheading of Charles I].’ So evidently we are living in the 1600s now, and the Internet and Nutella are just blissful mirages.
And Charles II totally didn’t come on the scene. Of course.
Hiatus…
Temporary hiatus.
Not feeling to great emotionally and exams start soon.
Starting from the end of May, when my exams finish, I will update every single page and fix everything that is not working…
I know I’m not getting many comments and I know it’s because I’m not returning them at the moment, I’m not blogging, and I’m not fixing my plugboard, mbeing active on my ofrum or answering emails.
I just need some time. Please understand.
To all those who have stuck with me while the site has been virtually dead, who faithfully checked for updates and got impatient with me for not doing my duty…I love you so much. Please hang on for a few more weeks.
It will be worth the wait.

I’ve been meaning to blog so many times and just never got round to it *sigh*
So anyway, I finished uni for Easter on 24th March, and since then I’ve been rushing around all over the place. I went home and saw my relatives, and took them all to London with the aid of Nika the tour guide planning where I could take them
Overall, it was pretty fun but tiring. And expensive. The train tickets alone cost about ?400 (about $700 or something).
Anyway…24th March was also the day that I got the keys to the house my dad bought in Nottingham. I have a mortgage. I have housemate(s). Life is scary.
But the house is soooooo nice. I’ll post pictures when I go back home and have regular Internet access (I’m in an Internet cafe with Andy at the moment).
So now all my time is taken up with old-people things of whether that bookcase would co-ordinate with that shelving and whether ?300 is really too much to pay for a gorgeous dining room table *sigh*
In between bouts of cleaning and tidying (so far, all the chrome stuff in the bathroom, the floor and wall tiles in there, replacing of the shower curtain, the conservatory glass and wooden floor, the dining room/lounge floor, and organising/buying of kitchen stuff), I’m going shopping, writing up notes etc. So I’m pretty busy, especially as I have so much uni work that I’m (supposedly) doing.
Furniture is pretty limited; originally an inflatable mattress that I bought, but our kickass curvy white leather sofa arrived yesterday. There is literally very little else – no cooker or fridge even (!!) Luckily, town is a beautiful 20-min-walk-by-the-canal away, and there are two retail parks within walking distance. The nearest one has Sainsbury’s, Pizza Hut, a restaurant and bar, and random other shops like PC World, Pets At Home etc. So we’re alternating between buying food the same day from Sainsbury’s and microwaving it, eating out, and getting takeaways. Plus, PC World has a free Internet lounge, which is where we go if we need a desperate Internet fix (it’s very slow, and a lot of sites are blocked).
I’m going home possibly tomorrow, but hopefully Saturday, to see more relatives and hopefully to buy some gorgeous black and white suede tablemats (I don’t have a fridge or a cooker, but I have a nice lava lamp and I’m determined to get those placemats!!). I’m so good at prioritising
And to see my family again of course lol. Then my dad said he’s gonna drive to my Notts house on Monday to buy a fridge etc., and to bring some of my stuff up – candles that I bought for the house, my DVD player, and some other bits and pieces.
I have ?1.30/26 mins left on this computer, so I’m going to relax and browse some more sites for a bit. Hopefully I’ll blog again soonish with photos of the house xx
