Hmmmmm

On Monday I dressed up like a man, and it was scarily enjoyable. I loved my outfit, and the goatee was just amazing. It was our best performance so far, I think.

Monday night I actually had some me time, which is incredibly rare. Like the English geek I am, I snuggled up in bed with a mug of hot chocolate and Virginia Woolf’s diary. Perfect night, with no interruptions by anyone for a whole 3 hours. Which shows how little time I have to myself, that 3 hours seems like a lot :P

Yesterday I went to MadEvil Studies on my own, since Sarah went to London. We had to translate another unseen text (something about a man falling asleep in church and seeing a dragon…don’t ask). We all had to translate it without dictionaries and then she went round the class and everyone had to read a sentence of their translation. For once, mine was absolutely perfect, even in terms of grammar, syntax etc. I’m not sure who was more stunned (or happy), me or the teacher. So I’m feeling a bit better about that module in general now.

In the afternoon I met Nika in town and we went shopping. I bought a few Christmas presents, some boots, chocolate raisins, other forms of chocolate, and a few other bits and pieces :)

Then in the evening I typed up some notes and went to the gym with Jenni and Nina (400 calories gone…)
This morning I went to the gym with Laura and Jenni again, but I found it really hard going (burned about 315 calories). Not good since I aim to burn at least 500 calories every time I go, but I guess 715 over 2 days isn’t bad :)

This afternoon I have an essay workshop 1-3 (although I might try to get out of it early, since it’s optional and everyone in the uni has Wednesday afternoon off), then tonight is the Christmas Bar Crawl. I’m going to wear antlers, jeans, and boots, I just need to decide on a top :)

Oh, I forgot to mention The Subway Guy – Part II (see November 23rd entry if you have no idea what that means). This time, he was joined by his female counterpart co-worker:

Her: Oh My GOD!!!1111 Guess what happened before?!?!????!?!?!!?!?
Him: What?!
Her: These two Chinese people came in before and ordered SEVEN sandwiches!!!!11111111
Him WOOOOOAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111

I’m so glad I have a life. Although I did find it very amusing.

My dad is so annoying sometimes. He told us we should keep looking at houses, and then the next day put an offer in for the house we liked. Then he said we should make appointments to see other houses. So we booked loads of appointments, and went to see another house. Then I phoned him up last night to ask him if he could come to the viewings today. What does he say? ‘I don’t want to see any more houses, I’m buying that one.’ So now we have five million viewings to cancel. Thanks dad.

Although now there’s a bigger chance we’ll get our house!!! Yay!!! :) :) :)

I have to go do my essay plan for the workshop, so I’ll return comments and leave you to it. Why my comments have dropped from 40 odd to about 10, I have no idea :(

I’m not trying to be rude or anything. So dont take this the wrong way but if you live in england then have you ever been to New York? and if not what importance would the city or the hudson river have to you?
