Life has been trotting along as usual. Since I don’t really have anything to report, I thought I’d make a list of things I’ve done since this time last year. It will also be good for those who haven’t been reading my blog that long or don’t read it regularly, to find out what I’ve been up to lol.
So, in no particular order…
- In Britain, visited: York, Sheffield, Manchester, Cambridge, London, Nottingham, Chester (England), Talacre, Rhyll, Prestatyn and a few others, (Wales), Edinburgh (Scotland).
- Globally, went to New York, Minnesota, Scotland and Italy
- Went up in the Empire State Building and into the Sistine Chapel.
- Started up a (installed in August, opened in November).
- Went on a 15 mile sponsored walk for Cancer Research.
- Went clubbing in three different countries.
- Found an alcoholic drink I actually like.
- Met a fantastic guy.
- Took a total of 9 A level exams and wrote 4 pieces of coursework.
- Went to a bar in Italy and got drunk with the teachers.
- Keep my weight roughly the same (neither good nor bad lol).
- Met someone off the Internet.
- Finished the first two stones of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (only started re-playing it a couple of days ago hehe).
- Passed my driving theory test.
- Failed my practical driving test once lol.
- Had 3 different driving instructors *cough* not my fault *cough*
- Started to be driven round by my friends (lol)
- Turned 18.
- Went to about 6/7 18th parties.
- Went on holiday with my friend.
- Got rejected from Cambridge, and accepted into York, Liverpool, Nottingham, Manchester and Sheffield.
- Got a DVD rewriter
- Grown my hair out to my waist (and had a few inches off it since then).
- Started studying Latin.
- Went into an American police station.
- Survived 8 plane trips totalling about 35 hours.
- Reached a million visitors on this site.
- Had a camp Greek Mancunian ex-air steward attempt to teach me History
- Was bought breakfast by a teacher (not as dodgy as it sounds, heh).
- Came home from a night out at 7am.
- Had a mixed ‘sleepover’
- Saw the Rocky Horror Picture Show
- Bought the morning after pill for my friend.
If I think of anything else, I’ll add it below

W0w, you’ve had a really REALLY interesting year and accomplished A LOT!!! Man, if I were to list all my accomplishments down it would only be sleep study eat all over again. Haha =) Man you went to a lot of places! I haven’t ridden a plane for about 5 years now.. I kinda miss it. =(. What I really liked was that you walked 15 miles for cancer research because for me that was the most meaninful thing there. hehe =) Well, I better get on with my boring life. TC!!! =):):D
Heyyyyyyyyy jenjen you’ve certainly done a lot… but why is scotland counted as both places visited in Britain and places visited globally? And what’s happened to being renamed Paul?
