Blergh. My Internet wasn’t working last night so I went to bed at 9:15 lol. I couldn’t think of anything else I wanted to do 
It kind of made me think about the old days when people used to go to sleep when it was dark because there was nothing else to do. Anyway. I reinstalled my modem this morning and it was fine :hmm: Wish I’d thought of doing that last night but never mind…
I was so nervous this morning because of exam results. I got to college roughly on time for my first lesson, then my teacher told me my mark in English Lit. after I specifically said I didn’t want to know it :hmm: Then my friend Laura dragged me down to the Student Centre to get the rest of my results :shocked: I was really terrified, and also confused because it was all numbers rather than grades (you have to work out the grades yourself) lol. Anyway, I got:
(Resits)
English Lit. – A (110/120) – was originally a D, then remarked to a C
English Lang. – A (93/105) – was originally a B
History – B (89/120) – was originally a fairly low C
(A2 Exams)
Geography – A (78/90)
History – A (81/90)
Not too shabby I’m especially pleased about my Lit. because that’s my most important subject and I need to push my marks up as much as possible, and last summer I got 70-something/120 for that exam :hmm: I’m really glad I did the work and retook it. I’m also pleased with my A2 History, a good result considering the teaching was so crap (although the question was great and Em and Tom still did better than me) I’m really glad I don’t have to do any more resits, though it’s scary that the next set of exams I do will be the final ones for my A levels. I love the module system though because it’s so much less stressful. :love:
I’m slightly disappointed with my Geography, even though it’s an A, because I seem to be dropping more marks with every exam I do. But it’s good considering I didn’t understand or like the topic, and I really thought I’d done badly in the exam. I don’t understand why I do so well in Geography when I don’t understand what’s going on half the time. Maybe it’s all the testosterone in the air from studying the subject with a load of ‘men’ making me intelligent or something
My History resit (B) also means that it’s the only module I haven’t got an A on. I swear that exam paper is cursed, I’ve never got an A in the mocks or the real exams. I really don’t know what I’m doing wrong. But I am really happy with all my grades, and it really sunk in that I was lucky when I saw a few of my friends literally crying over their grades. It’s really difficult to know what to say, especially when one person in question got an E and a U and really didn’t expect to get those grades, and has to try to persuade college to let her stay on another year to retake/start new subjects next week 
My overall marks at the moment are:
History 348/390
English Lang. 279/300
English Lit. 286/300
Geography 366/390
(all As)
My English Lit. has gone up by 74 marks altogether since last summer, from the remark of both exam papers and the result of this resit

I’ve just come back from taking Pom out, and Fuzz seems really pleased to see me lol. She keeps putting her paws on my knee and asking to be stroked, and she just tried jumping on my knee (completely unsuccessful since the desk and the keyboard are in the way. It was still cute though :love: Maybe she just wants feeding She seems to have settled down in front of the window now though, so maybe not…

Hmm, what are E and U? Don’t know what they are, but they don’t sound all that good. Hopefully that person can raise the grade. You must be pretty happy that you’ve raised your English grade! Aww Fuzz sounds adorable. I really wish i had a cat lol!

Jenni those results are great! I study for my test’s and I end up getting D (+)’s all of the time! My Geography teacher even had a private word with me to see if I was ok!! Be proud of what you got – because you are getting way higher than loads of people! :love:
