Went to the Blake lectures near Manchester Uni yesterday. Em came and picked me up, it was a squash in the back with Chrissy, James and Tom there but since I was last to be picked up, I was in the front 
We had intended to go for breakfast beforehand, but by the time we got there we only had a few minutes to go into the nearest Starbucks lol. The lectures were 45 mins each, with 2 15 minute breaks and an hour for lunch. That may not sound so bad, but listening to someone talking for a whole 45 mins while trying to write down all the key points of what they’re saying is exhausting. And the History ones we went to last time were frankly incredibly boring. But these weren’t so bad. I guess it’s something you get used to after a while and I guess I’ll definitely have to next year :blush:
So we got home for about 4:20, I had 10 mins before my driving lesson, which was fun. Well, possibly ‘fun’ isn’t quite the right choice there since I spent the whole time talking about my ‘problem’ (it’s posted at SS somewhere), and Matt spent nearly 2 hours advising me. Poor guy Still, I feel a lot more confident and a lot of the stuff he said made sense so…I’m prepared for college today. And plus, he spent most of the lesson last week talking about one of his computer games, so to be fair that time was mine anyway 
Hmm..I’ve been seeing some people slating my forum…if you want to do that, why not do it to my face? E-mail me 
And I rarely ask people to e-mail me, since I get so many of damn things :S And why people are criticising my paid advertising I have no idea :hmm: It just goes to show that at some forums, they WILL criticise everything. There’s no way it can be considered a ‘community’. I would rather eat my own arm then run a forum with constant bitching and arguing like that. It’s so stressful, and defeats the purpose of a forum. At SS, people aren’t so quick to judge. They’ll accept you for who you are, and unless you’re incredibly annoying, they’ll love you for it. I love the members of my forum :love:
Ok, enough of the sentimentalities.
I have decided to go against all the advice I’ve been given and choose my university for a) its reputation b) its availability of Internet access and c) which of my friends are going there. I know that’s really stupid, but I honestly can’t narrow it down at all :grr: And I have to let them know before the 28th April, so I’m really having problems. There’s one I definitely won’t go to, I only applied because it’s vaguely near to where I live. So that narrows it down to 4…and there’s one I probably won’t go to because I’m just not keen on it…so 3. Hmm. Decisions, decisions. It’s too hard

i think you stay with your choice, or the choice you think would suit YOU most, even if it might not have every benefit or be the ‘best’ uni.. in the least YOU gotta be happy about going there right?

Choosing a Uni to go to sounds difficult. My mums trying to get me to look into what ones i want to go to but i’ve still got 2 years left of high school to go!
Bitchy forums really anny me. Some places have really nasty people that just got into every thread and make nasty comments to everything. I get soo annoyed but you can’t say anything to them cause they’ve always got something better to say back . :grr:

I would have fallen asleep in those lectures lol. I’m going to have a lot to get used to if I go to Uni in 3 1/2 ish years time!

I can understand how choosing your university can be difficult. Its quite an important decision., but im sure whereever you go it will be good. And it is YOUR decision so you should go where you want to go and where you think you’ll be happy.

I guess it’s upto you for your choice of university but maybe it isn’t such a good idea to go just because your friends are going there. But if that’s really what you wan tto do then good luck to you. At least you’re GOING to university, most people don’t even manage to pass school ;D I know I won’t haha
