Now I really feel loved that so many people bothered to read all 2000+ words of that last entry and then comment lol. I’ve commented on all the personal sites with obvious commenting places/tag boards just to show my gratitude :love: To answer someone’s comment (sorry I’ve forgotten whose lol), yes I was really pissed off at the time, but now I’ve had a while to actually absorb everything, I can at least laugh at some parts. The ‘revenge’ didn’t quite come off as well as I expected (hoped), but at least I tried 
I went driving in my car with my dad yesterday, which is something I rarely do because we tend to piss each other off (him by telling me all the things I’m doing wrong, and me by arguing). I must be getting better though because he actually seemed fairly pleased And I have to say, I do feel a lot more confident (I expect the other drivers on the roads near me do too now!). My driving has actually improved quite a lot, which I have to say I’m pretty surprised about since most of my driving lessons involve random driving with me not concentrating and 2 hours’ talking with Matt about the world in general. My dad was working it out, and I have had about 70-80 lessons (hours?) so maybe all that ‘practice’ is the reason why haha. It’s good therapy though; my life seems to be finally calming down again now, with offline and online drama disappearing (touch wood).
At the moment, I have a resolution to be much more positive about things in general since I tend to moan a hell of a lot. As I pointed out to Em the other day, it’s mainly because I’m partly Iranian, and that’s what Iranians do. It’s a culture thing. It really is. All the Iranians I know (although come to think of it, there’s not that many) complain even when there’s nothing to complain about. Put me, a partly Iranian feminist (possibly the only one in the world) in a room full of 17-19 year old guys supposedly doing A level Geography and I moan a hell of a lot more For example, there really is no need to say ‘female farmer’ in a textbook. ‘Farmer’ is just fine. Yes, it may seem small, but trust me, I complain about everything Especially when I need to defend women in general to a room full of guys 
But anyway…my ‘be positive’ approach is working well so far. I feel generally more relaxed and calmer, and it’s less time consuming than taking up yoga 
I think it will have a good effect on my driving too, since I tend to get very angry behind the wheel (although definitely not as angry as people who will end up underneath it if they piss me off any more).
Got loads to do as usual…I will try my best to return all comments again, it didn’t take me as long as I thought :love:

I hate feminism lol, i wish we could go back to the days of say pride and prejudice where marriages were arranged by our parents for status, and women were admired for being women and not because they’re trying to prove something to men. I think feminism has gone too far and now guys seem to be getting a raw deal. I think I’m the only girl i know who thinks like this, and that upsets me a little. (Bet I’m unpopular with you now lol! :sick: ) I won’t argue with your views though, i don’t like to do that to people. I like the fact that everyone has something they believe in themselves.
Anyway, good luck with the driving and sorry the revenge didn’t go as hoped.

My father and I tend to argue when he is trying to teach me something, or when I am in the car while he is driving. It must be a natural ordeal.
I have been trying to be more calm and relaxed lately. I complain too much and I mope around frequently. So yea, just keep trying to stay relaxed, calm and positive. You will still have down days but just try and learn techniques to deal with it until you get back into a happy mood.

I haven’t started driving yet, but ‘m sure when i get in a car with my dad he’ll be as scrutinizing as yours :p I’m not sure if Iranians are arabs….but the same thing goes with us lol.
