If you can’t view the skins and you have cookies enabled, I have no idea why you can’t. Have you tried changing skins on other sites to see if that works or not? I will be adding more skins soon too :love:
[My Mood]
I did initially come home in a bad mood today mainly because of a) History and b) the fact that I hate Mondays this year. But, after writing part of my essay for English Literature, I realised something amazing. I have actually caught up with my work!! If I type up the majority of this essay tonight and work on it more tomorrow, and work on my Geography essays :sick: I’ll have caught up completely. On the plus side, I got my other Geography essays back today, and I managed to get an A despite the fact that I had no knowledge at all of the Kyoto Treaty. (Mental note to self to research that…).
[English Language Coursework]
One of my teachers very nicely lent me a new book as I’m doing a coursework investigation which includes Language and the Internet. I have to say I found it very amusing as it explains a lot of things I (and most other people that have sites) take completely for granted, for example what HTML stands for. It also gave an example of what was supposed to be a technical conversation (through email) and then followed it with a list of questions such as, ‘What makes you feel excluded from this conversation?’ My answer? ‘Nothing!’ So yes, I’m not sure how helpful this book is going to be. But it’s brand new, it smells nice and it’s amusing. All good qualities in a book, even if they aren’t exactly the benefits that the author had in mind

I know I’ve neglected the site quite a lot recently, and I need to do a lot of updating, but I’m so busy these days. It’s not like when I was 14 or 15 and didn’t have things like university, A levels, and college deadlines to think about. Plus I want to do well. That’s my main target. I know there’s some people getting annoyed by this, but I’m sorry. The site comes second with me, and always has done 
[Target Age]
I had an email from someone who will remain nameless that my site is inappropriate for children and children may surf on to it. To rectify this I’ve put up a warning enter sign. It’s kinda stupid though; it’s my site, there is no law that says because of the name it must be a site for kids, and I pay for it so I’ll do what I want with it. However, the other part of me (the nicer part) is saying that I don’t want to corrupt the minds of small children do I? Although the only aspect of my site that is even aimed at children is the dollmakers section, and I doubt they’ll bother to read my whole blog anyway *sigh*. What irritates me about it is that children that young shouldn’t be allowed to surf the Internet unsupervised anyway. I would say that my site is suitable for mature 10 year olds and older, and it’s up to the parents anyway to block sites they consider unsuitable or to educate their children properly about using the Internet. A few months ago I had an email from a grandma who used my dollmakers with her grandchildren, and she didn’t have any problem with it. I suppose there’s always one :hmm:

that’s weird. How can your site be inapproapiate for a younger audience. The only inappropriate thing would be the naked dolls. lol.. jk. People these days. They have the right now to come. Maybe it was your pinup cartoon and the part where it says “a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.”

I don’t think you should have to put up a warning sign on your own site. I mean, honestly, it’s only one person. I really can’t think of much on your site that would be inappropriate for children anyway.
(btw…congrats on catching up with your school work! I just caught up on mine over the weekend too!…well, for the most part anyway.)

hey i really like your site, the layout it very pretty. i don’t believe that the site is inapropriate for young kids. there are no half naked plastered all over it, it’s the content. and trust me; if it’s not what a kid’s looking for they’ll be out
