Starstruck is back!! Go and rejoin
Well, that’s the main news of today hehe. Oh, and I put a new skin up. It’s pink and purple and I :love: it, but I’m not too sure about the banner image at the top. I might change that, we’ll see. But apart from that, I love the colours and the style (damn, ever since I started being conceited a couple of entries ago I can’t stop now!). Click ‘Change the Skin’ in the menu to select it.
So much for spending time on college work; I’ve been procrastinating all day. I took Pom for a walk as I’ve been doing most days; he loves the attention he gets from the people walking past, they all stop to pet him He doesn’t get on well with Fuzz though; as he stays in the den, which has a large patio door, he can see Fuzz running past to get in the cat flap and barks at her. So Fuzz has started running past the window with her head turned in the other direction because she thinks that if she can’t see him, he can’t see her. Bless. It’s very stupid from a cat who is intelligent enough to look both ways before she crosses the road :hmm:
I also went shopping again, and bought a new jacket and jumper as well as a few Christmas and birthday presents. Fun.
On a more technical note, i’ve just realised I have had over 2000 comments since I installed MT in April!!! Thanks so much everyone, I feel so loved :love:
I got a letter from UCAS this morning; I got a conditional offer for Sheffield University! My first offer yay So if I get an A and 2 Bs on my A levels, I can go there, should I so wish. I’m keeping my options for now though, of course. It’s early days. Although I must say I’m quite tempted; I’ve visited it before and it’s a nice place, and far away enough from home lol. Obviously I’m going to wait and see what other offers I get first. I’ve only heard from 3/6 universities so far, and 2 of those 3 were just letters to say they received my application.

Fuzz decided to keep me company at the computer last night; normally she sits in the chair at my desk, but I guess she missed me since I wasn’t around all day :love: She kept me company whilst I worked on some little things; deleting junk email (I will get round to reading the rest I promise), installing MTCloseComment so people (and spambots) can’t comment on my old entries etc.
Yesterday I went to Chester, and it was fun. Sarah brought along this girl she knew from high school, who was pretty nice…or so I thought at first. We went to ‘our’ French cafe for lunch, and she wouldn’t buy anything (or anything much, I can’t remember), because she thought it was too expensive. So I thought ok, maybe she’s not hungry, or maybe she doesn’t have a whole lot of money but is too embarrassed to say. But then we went into Woolworth’s, and they had a sale of ice cream on that they were clearing out because it’s October. All the ice creams were 10p (5-6 cents?), so she bought a few of those. Fair enough, it was a good deal. When we carried on shopping, she’d go into a shop, look at something and be like, ‘No that’s too expensive’, ‘God it’s so expensive in there’ or something like that. I was slightly suspicious by that point; by all that and the fact that Sarah was making jokes about how she was still a cheapskate like she had been in high school. However, when we went for dinner at Pizza Hut, she asked Tom if she could have his free starter (I think she split the cost or something with him), and had the chicken wings starter, and a drink. I don’t know if they have this globally, but in the UK, if you order a glass of Coke/Sprite/Similar in Pizza Hut, you get free refills. So she kept asking the waitress for refills and got to about 7, whilst she told us about how she’d got to 15 somewhere else. So when the waitress came back AGAIN, she asked for another refill. The waitress said that she couldn’t keep swapping drinks, because the girl had had Pepsis, Sprites, Tangos etc., and you’re only really supposed to have all Pepsis or whatever. So she complained that they were all the same price and all came from the same place so what difference did it make? I can see her point, but she’d already had 7 drinks for £1.60, and it wasn’t like she’d ordered a big meal and needed the drinks since she’d only had a starter. I’m not surprised that the waitress was getting slightly irritated by this point. So when we left, she stole some of the cutlery. I absolutely could not believe it, and I have to say that some of my friends didn’t either. For a start, it was nasty cheap stuff that had been used by a million people, and she’s probably going to use it at home lol. Plus, she was clearly doing it to annoy the waitress and she said she’d done it before. By this time I could imagine her house full or bits and pieces; either ‘freebies’ or stuff she’s stolen. I can picture her cupboards full of those mini tubs of tomato sauce you get at McDonald’s lol.
So anyway, she tried to stop Tom, Em and I from tipping when we left, which was absolutely ridiculous when there was nothing wrong with the service. I think between us we left enough tip to cover the stuff she’d stolen since it was only cheap crap. But still, I find it difficult to believe anyone could be so stingy. She probably spent £5 the whole time she was there, plus her train ticket :hmm:
Today I went shopping with Laura, Hannah, and Laura’s friend Gemma. It was fun, I :love: the Trafford Centre. I bought 2 cute notebooks from the Disney Store, the ‘Road Trip’ DVD, 2 hairbrushes (a mini one for my bag and a big one for home), 2 books (Angela Carter & George Orwell), and a top from Elle which was my most expensive purchase, and probably not worth the money, but it’s pink and I love it
As far as Starstruck’s concerned, there is one major error left to fix, and once that’s been sorted out it will be done. For the record, I am not very happy with Lindy at the moment because she has done practically nothing to help sort these problems out, and apart from fixing a table, making a theme and installing the theme preview hack, she’s done nothing. I’ve installed everything, installed all the hacks and fixed all the major problems (apart from the final one). I’m not saying that to get people to rant at Lindy or whatever because I love her to bits, I just needed to rant and get it out of my system.
Tomorrow I plan to have a nice lie-in after the hectic (but fun) week I’ve been having, and then I will probably do some college work since I have a lot of holiday work which I haven’t yet touched

Maybe I did boast in the last entry…but I feel entitled to have a huge boast once in a while since I rarely do it, and never in real life :crazy:
So Thursday, after we finished college, Tom, Sarah and I decided to merge with the college Christian Union because they were going to Nando’s with a couple of friends of ours. It was really fun, even though I talked to my own friends and didn’t really talk to the rest of the people (there were about 14 of us I think). But…this guy called Ally was there and he told me some interesting things about somebody in my Geography class. Ok, a couple of them are embarrassing as well (for me), but…well, all I want to say is – you know who you are and Ally should have spoken to you about it – and you know what you can do. I’ll be on MSN quite a bit this weekend I should think; I’m not going out because I’m going out so much next week. Or you can email me, my email’s in the ‘Jenni’ section of you can’t remember it
God, that was hard. And probably very confusing for most people
So, this brings me on to the subject of the hate mail I got from some girl. It’s not often I get hate mail, but it does amuse me when I do. I’d post it here with my reply, but I don’t want to make it into a big thing and she’s learned her lesson by now so I’ll just leave it at that Also, there are a lot of expletives in it (Hers, not mine) So basically, she just said that I have no life and that I’m ugly. I honestly felt like I was back at school with all those childish people. Basically, I just replied that a) she’s entitled to her own opinion and I never said I was gorgeous and b) that my site has taken me nearly 4 years to make so far, so of course I have a life etc. I’ve never been one to be superficial or petty like that thank God I can’t believe she sent me such a long email about it :S
Lindy and I have decided that we will probably re-open the hacked SS for the time being, since we are as impatient as you are. It’s just a case of finding a time when neither of us are busy, to work on it, and hopefully that stop all the questions I keep getting asked about it
